Alpha Xi Delta’s Philanthropic Focus

 

 

 

 

 

The Kindly Hearts Initiative

The Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella to our national philanthropic focus of supporting children and teens experiencing foster care or homelessness. Alpha Xi Deltas across the country support two Key Impact Organizations, FosterClub and StandUp for Kids, making a national and regional difference under the umbrella of our focus.

Letters of Love

All Alpha Xi Delta chapters and alumnae associations participate in Letters of Love, Alpha Xi Delta’s national letter writing fundraising campaign. Held annually during the month of November this campaign benefits Alpha Xi Delta’s two Key Impact Organizations, StandUp for Kids and FosterClub.

 

Our Chapter's Impact:

At the Zeta Rho Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta, our commitment to philanthropy goes beyond just fundraising—we’re dedicated to making a tangible impact in our community. Through the Kindly Hearts Initiative, we’ve partnered with the Children's Home Society in Raleigh, an organization close to our hearts.

We’re proud to have raised nearly $24,000 for the Children's Home Society, helping to support children experiencing foster care or homelessness. But our involvement doesn’t stop at donations. We love working hands-on with our local partners, whether it’s organizing events, volunteering our time, or simply being there to lend a helping hand. Staying actively involved allows us to see the direct impact of our efforts and strengthens our commitment to this incredible cause.

At Zeta Rho, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Our philanthropy work is a core part of who we are, and we’re honored to support the Children's Home Society as they continue their vital work in our community.

 

The AmaXing Blue and Gold Gala

The AmaXing Blue and Gold Gala is the Zeta Rho chapter's annual AmaXing challenge, held every fall during Parents Weekend. Last year, our chapter raised an impressive $27,000! The evening features music, a silent auction, philanthropy, and celebration. All funds raised at the AmaXing Blue & Gold Gala will benefit the Children's Home Society of Raleigh, NC, whose mission is to ensure every child has the right to a permanent, safe, and loving family.
