Philanthropy

Xiti with the Xis is the Zeta Rho chapter's annual spring philanthropy event, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting our local partner, the Children's Home Society of Raleigh, NC. Our chapter will welcome family, friends, and members of the community to enjoy baked ziti from a local Italian restaurant. This year, we're excited to feature catering from Amedeo's Italian Restaurant in Raleigh, NC. The AmaXing Blue and Gold Gala is the Zeta Rho chapter's annual AmaXing challenge, held every fall during Parents Weekend. Last year, our chapter raised an impressive $27,000! The evening features music, a silent auction, philanthropy, and celebration. All funds raised at the AmaXing Blue & Gold Gala will benefit the Children's Home Society of Raleigh, NC, whose mission is to ensure every child has the right to a permanent, safe, and loving family.

The Kindly Hearts Initiative
The Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella to our national philanthropic focus of supporting children and teens experiencing foster care or homelessness. Alpha Xi Deltas across the country support two Key Impact Organizations, FosterClub and StandUp for Kids, making a national and regional difference under the umbrella of our focus. Letters of Love
All Alpha Xi Delta chapters and alumnae associations participate in Letters of Love, Alpha Xi Delta’s national letter writing fundraising campaign. Held annually during the month of November this campaign benefits Alpha Xi Delta’s two Key Impact Organizations, StandUp for Kids and FosterClub. To learn more about Letters of Love, click here.
